Hi, I am Kay

I am a photographer living in the Fraser Valley with my two kids and partner. In between enjoying time with my amazing partner and our two energetic kids, I am also pursuing my dream of capturing real moments behind the lens of a camera!

I began in the professional world as a nurse in 2009, and then in 2019 shifted into starting a small batch ice cream company in Vernon, BC. In 2022, I sold that business and my husband and I decided we would pursue another dream we've always had which was to live abroad. Arriving in France with our two small children and one suitcase each was WILD! After 2 years of adventuring through Europe we have settled into the Fraser Valley, Canada and I am always building on my skills as a photographer and learning every day.

At my core, I’m a deeply imaginative person, constantly drawn to creating and capturing the beauty I see around me. As a passionate advocate, I proudly stand as a queer ally and I believe in fostering an inclusive and diverse world, celebrating love in all its forms.

Photography for me is not just about taking pictures; it's about preserving the honest moments that define who we are. When we leave this world, photographs become the legacy of our lives — the proof that we were here, that we loved, and that it mattered.
